Session
INDIVIDUAL SESSION
COUPLES SESSION
- Session duration: 4 hours. Try not to be rushed afterward.
- In-person at my office in Geneva.
- Couples sessions can accommodate two individuals looking to reconnect or simply experience this together. Whether it’s for intimate couples, siblings, friends, mother and daughter, or any other duo, a couples session is an opportunity to elevate a relationship to a higher level and/or dispel misunderstandings and blocked energies. It’s a great way to grow closer, even if the relationship already seems strong at the moment.
- We will start by assessing and discussing what is going on. I will guide both of you through therapeutic exercises involving dialogue, meditation, and tarot; then we will move directly into an hour of couples Breathwork.
- Breathwork, accompanied by modern music, helps increase awareness while purifying the body on an emotional level.
- Prepare yourself for a life-changing experience that will elevate your relationship with your partner to a higher level.
- Most of my clients come out of these sessions with greater mental clarity, deep relaxation, and renewed love for each other.

- Practitioners do not diagnose, prescribe any substances, perform any medical treatments, or interfere with treatments provided by licensed medical professionals.
- Reiki and Breathwork sessions should not be used as a substitute for consulting a physician or psychotherapist. It is recommended to consult your healthcare professional for any medical or therapeutic concerns.
- Reiki and Breathwork are complementary practices that can enhance the effectiveness of other types of healing and therapeutic treatments.
- If you are in good health, regular Reiki and Breathwork sessions can potentially strengthen your ability to cope with stress and serve as preventive medicine.
This practice is not advised for certain individuals:
- Please note that if you have a history of cardiovascular disease, glaucoma, retinal detachment, severe mental illness, epilepsy seizures, advanced osteoporosis, recent major physical injury or surgery, asthma (please bring your inhaler), or if you are pregnant, these intense respiratory practices may potentially exacerbate your condition. If you have any doubts, it is strongly advised not to attempt this style of breathing without first consulting your physician or contacting Daphné Polliand for more information.
Specific considerations for Breathwork:
- Breathwork is beneficial for stress release, increased physical and mental endurance, as well as overall well-being improvement. It can also help release blocked emotions and traumas.
- Breathwork is not a relaxation technique but rather a physical, mental, and emotional challenge. It involves high-intensity practice similar to intense physical training.
* If your doctor has advised against engaging in this type of activity or if you have health issues that may be exacerbated by intense breathing exercises, it is highly recommended not to try Breathwork without first consulting your physician. - Here’s what you can ask your doctor while presenting the other contraindications: “Would it be possible for me to practice a Breathwork exercise similar to Holotropic breathing, where I will be accompanied by an expert instructor throughout the session? The exercise involves lying on your back and breathing through the mouth for approximately 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of relaxation with nasal and natural breathing. This can result in controlled hyperventilation, uncomfortable physical sensations, release of emotions, and potentially induce an altered state of consciousness. I would like to ensure that this is safe considering my medical history and the other contraindications mentioned.”
- Friendly reminder: During Breathwork practice, if you experience heart palpitations, dizziness, nausea, tingling sensations, or other sensations, please be aware that these reactions are completely normal and part of the Breathwork experience. You can always stop mouth breathing and return to natural nose breathing.
